UNDERSTANDING INDIGENOUS PERSPECTIVES IN K-12

The Whose History project team from Utah State University is working with Title VI, in part, to better understand how Indigenous perspectives are represented in K-12 classrooms. So far we have learned about teachers’ perspectives and have looked at the current resources that are publicly available on school district websites. To have a fuller picture of what is being represented in classrooms, we would like to include perspectives of students and families in the Title VI Program.

We would like to invite students and families to participate in Sharing Circles either over Zoom, or at a location of their choosing. Our team is willing to travel. For their time, each family member who participates in a Sharing Circle will receive a $10 gift card.
